Really cool idea. Good job!
I felt like the games this year were a little weaker than usual, but then I tried filtering by the tag "first person" and weirdly this is where all the good games were hiding this year. I lol'd when I first saw the dorky NPC coming towards me -- I literally just played another Slender-like in the jam where the twist is you're supposed to look at the monster to scare him off (and it's actually frightening), so seeing this dude start walking toward me subverted my expectations.
hahaha glad you enjoyed it!! i love how the other slender game turned out so different from ours!
I really like the art and aesthetics! The interpretation of the theme is pretty funny too!
The game looks nice and works! A great start for a 48 hour jam.
good gaming good music
Presentation is top notch! The investigator AI could have some improvements.
The atmosphere was very nicely put together, and overall, i must say this was simply, a very pleasant experience.
That being said, i also managed to not run into the investigator at all the first time. So maybe it would be a nice addition to the reporter to make him go near your general direction when too far away. Or make the map layout more linear so you have to go back to certain locations more often.
Also the addition of the news article at the end is a perfect cherry on top.
thanks so much for playing! you're right, we should have made him a little more aggressive. thanks for the feedback :)
okay SICK game! its funny, scary and well mad. like i knew what the danger was after the first run, yet the guy scared the shit out of me the second time around aswell xD
edit: oh, i nearly forgot; the mouse sense was waaaay to high for me. but it added to the challenge.
thanks so much for playing!! hope he didnt scare you too bad, lol! if you ever play it again, there's actually a sensitivity slider on the pause screen :D
Good little game. The presentation was good, and I could see it work as a bigger game. 2 problem i had was I never saw the investigater before the end. He never got close to me, and i don't run. 2: There was a bug there drag the camera to point toward the ground, somewhat destorying the presentation.
thanks!! i'm impressed you never ran into him actually :D we appreciate the feedback!
