I swear this game was plotting to burn down my crops, poison the water supply, steal my gold and cattle, and stab me in the back if I looked at it funny... but it didn't. Having dialogue screens with no dialogue boxes was a diabolical design choice. More games should do it, I was having a heart attack.

Making a meta game about making games is not all that original, but I still like when a game just... talks to you. I think I can almost see the person that made it. Not because they made a bad game that was funny or charming, but because it actually talked to me.

It's not a game, it's an experience. Does this game a good jam game? My head hurts.

Lol, that's awesome! Didn't even consider the dialogue screens with no boxes were downright fiendish.

But seriously, thanks for playing and leaving your comment. It means a lot!

This was probably one of the most creative games I've gotten to play in a while. It had an amazing mix of humor, relatability, encouragement, and charisma. 100000/10 recommend. I may have cried a little but I'm also just really emotional LMAO. Forever keeping this on my PC and come back to it when I become discouraged during my game dev journey.

One thing I think would improve the gameplay experience is if there was an arrow indicator at the end of the text dialogue to let you know when to click for the next line, and an option to go back to the previous one. I played through it twice because I accidentally clicked too early on one or two sections.

The gameplay is good, the idea itself is creative. I would play even more! Great job

I enjoyed this experience it was gripping and not because Michelle from marketing told me so, I really think Sockerton is fantastic, sockerton oozes personality and the drawings are very expressive, ah and the music, I find it hard to describle how fond I am of Funny Monkey PooPoo Squeeze-A-Fart, truly a classic to be admired, I got spooked at the end because I hung around not wanting the experience to end, my only critique would be that it would be nice to be able to click to the end of text without skipping, I accidentally skipped some text because I thought it was the end of the speech, such FOMO. Also Monke
