Nice job! I think this could become very addictive with a few more units and levels. Cohesive art style works well too!

In the description you said this is more of a proof of concept, and I think it's a great one! The reverse tower defense mechanics reminds me of Bloons Tower Defense Battles, but more focused on the "bloons" part. Also, the perspective is visually interesting and I love the orc's walk cycle :)

I was more thinking about the minigame "I, Zombie" from Plants vs Zombies (because i never played a bloons game)

The animation is one of my favorite thing i made for this game (like the lil goblins) :D

Anyway, maybe i'll work on a full game later (maybe)

Cool concept. Played something similar years ago but they did 2 player build towers and send troops against other player. Love the idea and have wanted to see more of it ever since. Keep up the good work. The 2.5 D artwork style and presentation was great in my opinion.
