How does your game fit the theme?
One player controls two characters that are soul-bound. A tether connects the two and on a set interval, the energy from their soul gets fired at the other character, and if it connects the energy of two souls colliding causes both characters to die.

Cool game! I really like the art style and soul-bound mechanic! I just wish it had audio. Besides that, great work!

Sort of confusing but also really interesting and original. The art was great too. I only wish it was longer.

This game had a nice idea and a really cute NES art style. Well done for just 48 hours! Maybe in any future release you could have the soul disconnect when it reaches the door, so you're not waiting for the timer to change to the other soul once you've beaten the level with one. Just my two cents. Well done!

Very well put together, I really liked the minimal art style. Game-play was a bit confusing at start but then I quickly got hang of it :D

Cool game! Took a bit of time to get used to but i liked it! The gameplay was good and so was the art . The style was pretty cool and minimal i appreciate the player was really noticeable compared to its surroundings. Good job on this game! Would appreciate it if you checked out my game :)

It took me some time to figure out how it works and how to play - in one level there was one really difficult jump, but I think the idea is really original and I had a really good time playing it. The art is nice and the idea for the game is very interesting, good work!

The artstyle looks great, the concept, although a little hard to grasp works well with all the features, and otherwise a fun experience.

But the platforming could have been a little bit more lenient and the switches should have been introduced in an earlier stage, as they really made the game come together.

Also, the switching mechanic had you waiting when you were still trying to move up. Having control over switching players (but not over shot intervals) could have made it just as good as of an idea as it really was.

The lack of sound was a real bummer, as just some jump/shot sounds and a music track would’ve enhanced the experience.

I love this game so much!!! The concept, the art, all is perfect. I didn’t quite understand how the characters “die” but overall great job, it is in my top 10 games of this jam
