Finally got around to rating this. The grappling mechanic isn't a novel idea, but it does make for some fun, but at times frustrating platforming. And of course, the music and sprites are top notch.
The grappling hook felt really nice, but pretty unforgiving. I wasn't able to get past the part where you had to climb up the tunnel after grappling the ceiling a bunch to get under the wall. Really liked the art too!
The idea of having 3 uses for the hooks is very nice. The aim is quite tricky but it was fun !
Good job on the game! Very tricky to control in the beginning (switching to a gamepad definitely helped). Well done!
Very finicky to aim. The platforming itself feels nice, but some of the hook variants seem a bit superflous. I'd also reccomend using a controller, the game is very hard, and especially on keyboard.
This sucker was not easy to master but fun to play. I think I may have more chances if I was using a controller. I like the style and retro music, good one!
Very cool game, I'm not sure if it was intentional but using spaming the hook mid air leads to a slow glide that makes the platforming a bit easier, but still fairly difficult, so much so that I wasn't able to finish it
