I don't know if the strategy really works out to be that interesting in practice, but Its a really cool concept and a great exploration of mechanics.

Would be fun to play with friends but as I was doing it alone it got depressing but that's not a fault of the game heh. Was a little confusing but I got the hang of it, well done!

So my main issue is that nothing is stopping you from building super densely, and then it's hard to cut your roads. Also the dense pattern means you can have tons of units created from a single castle, whereas having a more spread and less dense pattern doesn't give you as many soldiers, even with more castles. In practice if the opponent chooses to play lame there's little you can do. The SFX should also be capped; with a dense formation I almost go deaf in the upkeep phase.
That being said, it's a really cool setup for a strategy 2 player game.

Interesting game and concept I do wish there was an AI I played against since I can't really play against myself.

This was an interesting game! The two of us didn't really understand what was going on at the end. The mechanics of it are original and playing against someone was fun.

uses simple mechanics while still being complex

I really like the idea of this game. The only problem is it requires two people to play, but I am definitely going to  get someone to play it with to see the full potential. Just messing around with both sides I definitely see the potential.
