How does your game fit the theme?
The actions did by the player character are joined together. Mark Brown also asked in the theme video "What does it mean for the connection to break?" - In my game it means a huge risk for the player because of the Sudden Death mechanic.

Great game! Especially fun to play after knowing how it was made :3
OMG IT'S SOOOO FUN! I love the challenge of trying to keep one alive but having to look at 2 players.... The only down side is I couldn't work out how to exit the game with out tabbing out
Thanks :D About quitting the game: I planned to make the game playable in browser, but that somehow didn‘t work, so I had to make it downloadable and I had no more time to make the quit button sadlys
Cool concept. I like that the sudden death mechanics and the respawn. The art is also very nice. A little bit hard to jump into higher platform but overall it's a good game. Good job!
Fun game idea but, to me, it was really difficult to know where to stand. I really enjoyed the sudden death mechanic. Well done.
Nice graphics. And I loved how moving off the screen looped back the other side. The game fits the theme well. But I would have liked to see more enemy types and more use out of joined the characters together. Overall, good job on the game.

Nice little game especially the graphics.
The gameplay however feels very repetitive, it would of been nice to have some ennemi variety and ramping up the difficulty when the core goes up. I personally qui the game after 400 score because it was too repetitive and not challenging enough (might only be me though). The sudden death mechanic is a really nice idea but it makes the game way too easy, you can also abuse the sudden death mechanic to reunite your 2 little buddies together and basically play only 1 character wich takes away the whole fun of the game.
Overall a nice looking game that unfortunately is a little too repetitive and has a lots of small flawes in it's design you can abuse, hope this helps you improve the game :)

The game looks great visually. The sounds and music are also really great. The concept is an interesting twist on the original Mario Bros. In my opinion the twist doesn't really add anything though. Like I feel its preferable to just let one character die and just focus on the one you have left to progress. Maybe if one died you can't continue would be better? Also if you try to jump over an enemy in the bottom row under the platform it seems almost impossible. Good job though, its really polished for the time limit!
Thanks! I agree with all you said. I originally planned to let the score don’t increase when one player is dead but I didn’t had enough time sadly. And about the bottom platforms, uhm yeah pretty weird haha
