Fun game, especially when I realised I can accidentally stab my other guy by accident ha.  I died lunging my sword back and forth into a nasty enemy, an honourable death I think.

Developer

Hah! Very honorable indeed... Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!

Loved the idea but so hard, my brain crashed haha, but very good

Developer

Heh, happens to the best of us! Thanks for playing!

Although it's a zombie apocalypse it has pretty relaxing and calming gameplay :) Good visuals and cool concept for weapons that you need to be careful with. Although some of the times the game seemed to lag very much for periods of 10-15 seconds, I'm not sure if that is a bug, or my computer is at fault.

Nonetheless, good job!

Developer

It was intended to be relaxing! I am glad that you enjoyed it! The lag is not your fault.. I had never used pathfinding on this large of a scale which I believe is the issue, all the zombies are looking for a path at once which causes the lag.. definitely an issue needing to be solved after the jam! Thanks for the kind words!

Man this takes me back to playing boxhead 2play! pretty fun concept. My only suggestions would be to center the bullet, it would feel a lot better to shoot where the mouse is aiming. And to tighten up the movement, you could make pulling on the rope be sluggish / build up momentum, rather than outright stopping the two characters. momentum and inertia would add a lot to the "game feel"

I plan on adding a 2 player option after the jam! Great suggestions! I did wonder about the aiming system but ultimately kept it how it was.. I can definitely make the bullets go towards the mouse instead.  Thanks again for the kind words!

Really cool! I love that the sword also harms the other character, it really forces you to be aware of the two characters' placements.

Developer

That was the intention! Thanks for the kind words!
