I loved this. Fantastic presentation. Beautiful art, good choice of mellow music, the radio soothingly conveying astronomical facts is genius, and the puzzle gameplay of searching for star clusters and assessing whether they might fit any of the desired patterns is creative, not to mention potentially educational as well.

It would be cool to tie the radio messages to whatever constellation you are trying to complete or have just completed, if you didn't do that already. I wanted more information about the specific constellation I was trying to connect, like its name, haha.

I think this explores the part of the theme about "what does it mean for things to be joined together?" very well. I'm not sure if it really gets at the other part, i.e. "what does it mean for that connection to break?"

Overall, very nice job—a soothing play that really stands out.

It's a really cool concept and the nice chill game. That said I suck balls at it. Couldn't make heads or tails out of most of the star clusters I found. I think in the end I only managed to draw 3 constellations.

The presentation's top notch, with both music and art. Everything about it is so warm and cozy. Almost like a storybook illustration.

I also like how the first star cluster you see nicely tutorializes the mechanics ( connect the dots to draw the shape, not all of the dots are used, thought bubble shows shape). Also being able to scroll through the sky by clicking and dragging (in additnion to wasd) is a really nice touch.
Overall this is very polished game, especially for a jam.

Also, that cat is the world's best dad, this is canon.

Really nicely presented, but very hard. I'd have liked to be able to superimpose the constellations on the stars.

The vibes were immaculate, but the game was quite hard.

A really nice lo-fi game, and interesting adaptation of the concept. Nice work!

Really cute idea with a really nice atmosphere. Trickier than you'd expect.

art and chill atmosphere are great, i suck at this game.

It's pretty cool, but there's one constellation that I wasn't able to figure out how to get even when I had gotten all the others and narrowed it down just to one. I'm not sure if its supposed to be that difficult

The hardest ones are a bit rotated, but I'm glad that you almost made it to the end!

Hi! Do you remember which one? Difficulty was hard to do in the game, because if you already know the answer it's super easy to see the constellation so it was hard for me to judge what was easy and what was hard when making them. If you found it too hard it wasn't intended, I tried to hit that sweet spot where it's not hard but also not obvious. After testing it with some friends I simplified it but some of them might still be too difficult.

It was the bottom middle one

This one, right?

Yeah, this one was a bit tricky, because it's rotated some 45 degrees. So it's easy to get confused and use the wrong stars. Using rotation or not was a debate in the team, maybe we should have kept only really small rotations (15 degrees or less). Thanks for you feedback!

Not the intended way to play it, but still, very sus.

I like how even  if the core idea of a "relaxing game about linking stars to make constellations" is the same for both your game and hours (and likely other people on the jam as well), the creativity and interpretation of anyone is what really sets things apart.

This game is a very chill puzzle game. The setting itself is calming enough, but the atmosphere of the music and the radio really gives it a unique vibe.

The execution and themes really gave this game its own identity. While I couldn't find all the constellations on my own after quite a while, I still had a good time just vibin' and trying to make stuff out of what I could see myself.

Great submission for the jam! 🐳

Thanks for playing it! Yeah, the difficulty of the constellations was hard to get. We tried to get that sweet spot of not being hard but also not being obvious, but we couldn't test it as much as we wanted to. (Love your constellation btw, pretty sus)

Wow, this game is gorgeous and relaxing. I found it hard to find the constellations after the first one, but I really enjoyed just looking around and hearing the pitter patter of the radio. You have something with this concept, and I hope you expand upon it. Really neat!
