How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, the queen is "out of control" in that she is in an unwakable trance and is sleepwalking. The castle is also a bit unruly, with holes in the floor and falling chandeliers.

You inadvertently made me a game that allowed me to take down the monarchy! Viva la revolution!
I really liked the presentation of this game, especially the light and dark areas. I wasn't ever able to pick up the Queen, which is either a metaphor about how lower classes aren't allowed to interact with royalty, or that my dude needed hit the weight room. Either way I kept getting stuck early on. I'm also horrific at these types of games, soo..
Finally, I really liked the music and SFX! They really fit with the look.
Thank you so much! :)
Cheers! We'll try to fix that bug ASAP.
Interesting concept for an escort game. The game looks great and the sprites are clean.
The main problem is that the physics make the gameplay really janky and progressing frequently impossible. Throwing the queen up feels weirdly inconsistent and the fact you have to hold right while jumping to do that even when she is not moving feels really unintuitive. Also this build really needed a reset and fastforward button.
I still really like the game and would have liked to see some more interesting mechanics.
Thanks for the feedback! Had we gotten more time, we definitely would have fleshed out the castle with better mechanics and rooms.
A nice idea, but I wasn't really sure how to overcome the obstacles. I managed to half push the queen over the first crate once it had fallen in the gap, but after that she got stuck behind a chandelier in a doorway with me on the other side.
I liked the character you managed to give the very low-res sprites.
Thanks for the compliments! If you need to get the queen out of a bind, when the player is touching the queen, hold E/space bar, and jump to throw the queen upward.
Interesting concept but i think it's been done before, jsut in a slightly different way. The art and music is not bad too. The controls are a bit... hard, I can't get the first crate to even fall properly into the gap since it keeps spinning when i push it and it gets stuck on the gap instead of inside it.
Thanks for your feedback! You don't need to push the crate in perfectly to advance -- touch the queen, hold E/space bar, and jump to throw the queen upward.
ah gotcha, i was wondering why the guy had his arms forward whenever i pressed space and tried grabbing the furniture but that didn't work. it might be a good idea to add a splash screen or smth for the controls when a new game is started then
