Wow, you've done so much work! Great job.
Also I Loved arts and animations and had fun playing it :)
And if you had time, I'd be thankful if you play my submission <3
thank you
I'm shocked more people haven't played this! Maybe you should do a web build next time so people have an easier time trying to play it.
I'm not sure why but I was getting slight horror aesthetics from the game, I felt like at any time something really creepy was going to happen. If you wanted to take it in that direction, I have a few suggestions. Maybe once you finish one game it ends up in the trash and the other games are somewhat distorted. Random images hinting at backstory popping up in the images. Wrap the entire thing in a mystery and let the player put together the pieces and you'd have a solid horror game. Just my opinion though.
Overall fun game and unique concept! If you get a chance, check out my game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/694820
It is what it is..
thank you for playing though. I was thinking the same but sadly didn't have enough time for that. Maybe I'll create more playtime, story line and publish it as a finished game on steam or on itch. I'm still kinda new to game-development and didn't know how to do a web build but will try to do it next time for sure.
That's the best part of doing a game jam, you get to experiment with things and see if the community likes it or not. Just because the Jam is over doesn't mean your project is. Jam's are an amazing learning experience, and you know what to focus on next time in terms of figuring out web builds and such (I only learned how to do it properly this jam).
Best of luck on your future game dev!
I liked the minigames idea. You could polish them so they are a little bit faster, but is what the jam let you do. Good work!
thank you for playing
Hey Zwollo, Brett from GV here! I really enjoyed playing your game. I think it's a great idea, and with some polish could be something really really cool! I think your biggest issue with it is the pacing of how all the sub-games play, but I think if you get that down, you're good. Great job!
I know about the first game having some problems at the boss fight. the others I wasn't sure of. Anyways thank you so much for playing my game!
It's no problem! The first game is fine, just a bit bullet spongey.
If I had suggestions for the other two, with the runner I would add some way to measure progress, like a meter bar. But perhaps to go with the theme, it actually crashes and you get booted from the game early.
With the third game, I think my biggest issue was that it was mostly guessing then memorizing a pattern. If there were maybe some subtle indicator or animation, it could be a good bit less frustrating.
Cheers!
Really nice and polished game. Really loved the fact that fortnite was in trash. Great job!
thank you!
I feel like this got potential but first minigame was frustrating and slow. And slime boss disappeared somewhere
Thanks for playing, I know about this. I couldn't fix it in time. That's why I added a ESC button. You get redirected to home and there you only have to play the last 2 games and get 1 fatal error in one of those games. Then the story continues :)
fun and original game. I recommend it
thanks :)
