I was wondering who made the music as I didn't see any credits, but overall this was a pretty great feeling game!

Thanks for the comment. The music in this is an instrumental version of something I'd made a little while ago.

This feels like playing an old arcade game whilst drunk, I love it.

1.13 seconds!

I did not feel that much out of control.

That aside, the drift feeling is very good, you nailed it.

This is a very solid score attack game. Had you already made racing games before?

Great style and liked how you can't steer when you boost. Great job!

This game has some mario kart vibes to it. You can try jump over obstacles to take short cuts. The levels are nice, even with a different time of day. The details are sweet, like the small umbrellas on the beach. Or the side buildings without a collision, since you are not meant to drive through them. Had some mario kart wii vibes :).

As a geologist, I was hoping this would be about the actual longshore drift. Needless to say I was disappointed.

However, this is a great entry into the jam. Love the aesthetics. Brings back those arcade days.
