How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme as it is based around a highly dangerous prototype laser that can't be shut off. It kicks and bucks and vaporizes anything it hits. Your job is to get it to a safe place, without disintegrating half of the level.

The objective wasn't clear as I was playing, and it felt more satisfying destroying things than trying to avoid it.
Reflecting the laser all over the place made the optimal strategy just looking at the ceiling/floor all the way, which isn't very engaging.
This had good potential for a puzzle game!
Also very happy with the option for changing mouse sens.
Yeah, the objective signposting is something that I'm not happy with, but didn't get a chance to fix before having to publish. I do need to solve the floor and ceiling problem, but haven't found a way that I'm 100% happy with. The first crack was to scatter reflection hazards on those surfaces, so that the player wouldn't risk using those surfaces without thinking about where their beam might end up, but I should have been more aggressive about limiting how far a player can look up and down.
If I do continue working on this project further, I hope to add more levels in the future to make it more of a puzzle game, and add more puzzle mechanics to the game. Maybe a bonus round here and there where you do get the vaporize everything :).
Thank you for playing my game and leaving feedback. I hope to see you in another jam!
Thank you for submitting your game to the stream! =)
This proposal has been very popular in this jam, but your game proved to be a very well packaged package! I liked it a lot, but I think there was a lack of visually representing for the player some way of indicating his score during the game, instead of showing it only at the end.
But it's pretty cool! Congratz!
Thank you for playing! There is a score display on the bottom of the screen, but it tends to go unnoticed with all the visual clutter. I wanted to implement a damage number system, but ran out of time. It's on the list of things to address if I pursue this project further.
Pretty fun, I liked the mechanics and it's really challenging if you set the recoil to it's highest setting! Good job!
Make sure to go into the settings and bump up the recoil strength for MAXIMUM CHALLENGE! Got $120 on low, still working on getting max below 10k XD
