A little bit complicated, but polished up could be interesting idea
I had no idea i have to click to shoot while spamming hjk all around lol. Probably need to turn down the shooting rate/reload, it's quite easy if you spam, or probably projectiles don't penetrate through enemies. But H and J keys are pretty much useless coz I never had the movement keys disabled while using H and J dodges to recover my movement. Overall, it's okay, music is dope tho :) 100% better than ours made with Chrome's Song Maker hah.
I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I eventually found your game page and found out you have to press K on the portal to exit. This wasn't very clear, could have used a visual or UI popup when you found the portal or something similar. The platforming was alright though there's a bug where I can jump a bunch in a short period of time if I approach a plaform from the side while holding jump
