Great art style! I think the game could be improved with a hit points system or a consumable smoke-bomb escape technique or something like that. Alternately, not making the game close each time you fail would work to keep players engaged and not frustrate them. Was that a purposeful design choice to give failure a real sense of weight?

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! A restart system was definitely the biggest thing I wanted to add, I just ran out of time. The big downside of going solo!

Cool game! The only thing I would suggest is not making the game close every time you die.

Developer

Yep, totally agree! I ran out of time on that feature.

Love the art, annoying collisions though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. The collision is annoying, as well as the jump height and speed. I'll probably work on those after the rating is done for the jam.

Love the dares system! Really adds a lot when you're incentivized to head into danger. My only complaint is the the collision is a bit wonky, and I kept getting stuck in walls as I tried to run away

I'm glad you liked the dares, it was a fun idea to explore. And the collision definitely needs work, I plan to fix it after the grading for the jam is done.
