I like the style! There were some performance issues for me, though. Took me like 4 seconds every round the level to load in - in the meantimeI was laggily moving around the map. I also had issues. Maybe toning down the post-processing effects would help. I liked the shooting, but I just wish things didn't escalate so quickly! It felt like it was always ending just as things were getting started.

Thanks for the comment. You are probably right about the balancing. I was worried the post processing was to much but never got around to changing it. Out of curiosity what are the specs on your system so I can test it on a similar system to see if I can increase performance after the jam? Thanks.

I Think if i reset the game state rather than reloading the scene and have a light loading screen it shouldn't lag.  Thanks for your help.

Once I figured out what was going on, I came to like the idea and the visual style. Though, since I'm the same height as everything else, it's hard to see what's happening. If I'm correct, the enemies split into two when you shoot them? But you can't just leave them alone, or they grow ridiculously large. I'd say the easiest thing you could do to make it better is make the virus/enemies make a sound as they grow larger, so you know where to look. Fun!

Thanks for the comment. You are correct the enemies grow and split into two when you shoot them. The sound idea is a good idea. I’ll add that in after the jam. Also I highly enjoyed your game.  Thanks.

hey this game is probably the best game made during the jam. i am extremely impressed on how you made such an elaborate,  well constructed, and fun game. I would love your feed back on my entry, i feel it would really help me become a better game designer overall.

The music was composed by me in about 4 minutes, but the sound effects where from a library.
