How does your game fit the theme?
The game limits the total number of moves you can take in each direction. So when you run out of a direction you run "out of that control"

You designed some real nice puzzles! I like that each one required the exact number of moves you provided. I liked how you introduced new obstacles every 5 levels, because it made your game more exciting.

I would have liked to have seen more fanfare for completing a level. It feels weird to get booted instantly to the level select screen.

Thanks for the feedback! And I agree on the fan fare.  In fact, it was the first thing we added after the deadline

Love the mechanics on how u have a limited amount of moves you can make. Only criticism i have is that the start page was a little more clear on how to start the game. didn't know that you had to click the start button.

Developer

Yeah, a couple players have had that trouble as well, whoops. Happy to hear you liked the mechanics, though.

Simple but well executed puzzle game. The different levels work well to introduce the mechanics little by little and bringing more complexity level after level, but I think you should have gone a little bit more crazy with the level design. The most fun was when one single movement was triggering a chain, where I had to observe and anticipate what would happen, but most levels are a bit "shy".
I would say the same for the visuals actually, it works well but is quite classic too.

This was a well executed game mechanics wise. I finished almost all the levels (except 1 ), and the puzzle designs are really good. I had fun figuring it out.

Presentation wise, the art, while not confusing, doesn't come together very well. There's a weird combination of blurry wall sprites, with crystal clear coins and player sprite. I also wish there was some more fan fare when completing a level, and maybe something that keeps track of which levels I had completed.

But again, the gameplay itself was executed well. No bugs encountered and very good puzzle design, which I enjoyed solving (I didn't want to stop playing till I finished them all)

Also, Godot has an option to embed the pck file into the EXE so we don't need to combine them.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed the puzzles! I also really wish we were able to add a "Level Complete" splash or something, but we just ran out of time :(. And none of us have any experience in art design so we did our best haha, it certainly could use some work.

Is it saying Windows Defender doesn’t recognize the publisher?

huh, apparently it works now. Weird. Yesterday it just wouldn't even launch. It now works and i'm able to play it!

edit: ah i see. I did download both and it did launch.

Developer

Glad to hear. Hope you enjoy it!

You'll need to download both files :)

@dev: You should probably .zip the files up for next time ;)

Developer

haha yep, I should have zipped them. My first submission to itch, so i wasnt sure if that was acceptable.
