I actually really like the mechanic and think it has potential. What would make it work in a full game would be ways to reduce the size, like waiting or pickups.

It does go down (very slowly). I was trying to keep it tuned so you'd run out of control at some point. Pickups would be a good addition!

OK so i can see the idea here, just the implementation is quite finicky.

with this my stand out is that its so concise with the design and i knew almost exactly what was up, the downside being that the growth of the spere is so fast and the game is over in 2-3 clicks. 

an alternative might be to teleport the character but every time the circle getts bigger and it becomes more random to teleport.
overall its a very solid start!

yes, i agree that there's not much meat on the bones of this design; it's over quickly because this game would be quite boring if it was too much longer. Maybe it'd last longer if it was a maze you were being chased through...

Teleportation is interesting, I'd have to replace the chase mechanic, as that'd be a trivial issue to solve.
