fun and challenging! although very annoying that if you collect all the gems, it just respawns them!

Thanks! Our original idea was to have multiple possible objectives that would change when one was completed, but we didn't have the time to get that fully baked.

At first, I was not sure how it fit the theme, but it gets out of control quickly. It would be nice if the character was a little faster to stop, but I like the concept and think you did a good job :)

Thanks! One of the random effects was to affect the players speed, so you might have been influenced by that.

reaaally nice and executed concept! I would have liked moer levels though 🙂 changing one game rule at a time is really fun

Developer

Thanks! We had another level in the works, but due to it being mostly incomplete we opted to stick with a single level.

Whoa. That got unexpectedly trippy real fast! Made me laugh. And the cool fish eye/distortion effect made me blink, so mission accomplished!

The randomness of the control changes are a bit frustrating. It would be nice if they came as a result of something else. Like maybe you have to make a trade-off--if you take this key, it'll reverse your controls; if you take this pack of extra arrows, you're going to get this (maybe less intense) image distortion.

Developer

Thanks for checking out our game! We had intended to have the effects tied to when objectives (as well as more objectives besides gems) were being completed but didn't have enough time to see if fully realized.

I wouldn't call everything changing for controls and look original but it plays, it's funny, I managed to get to 6 gems before dying. Good job
