Really fun and original idea. Maybe a little bit too short, but still very solid.

I loved the concept, and the aesthetics were absolutely top notch, great job with that. From a user experience perspective, I think the instructions could be a little more clear and I would love some feedback whenever you shoot an object as to whether or not you were correct. I get that the replicants hop away, but I wasn't sure if every single one did or what exactly the rules regarding that were. I also skipped through the item screen a few times and had to refresh the page in order to go back. I think a similar concept you might want to explore would be having a replicant take multiple hits to kill but running around and disguising itself as different objects every time you find it. So you'd have to go back through explored territory and see if there's a new sign out of place or something. In any case, great job, I enjoyed this entry!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it.  Absolutely agree regarding the feedback. I had plans to do some particle and sound effects based for the replicant vs. regular objects but sadly they were cut for time.

If you do decide to give it another go, I'll tell you now that the replicant DOES take 3 hits before you win, it just bounces off to a different position. And if it manages to sneak off camera it will change its shape.

Thanks again and best of luck in the jam!

Ah, gotcha. Sorry I missed it, I figured that might be happening but wasn't sure. Great job again, really cool ideas here :)  I'd appreciate if you could try out and rate my game if you've got a moment! Best of luck to you as well :) https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/460707

Nice game. A bit short but well made.

Fun memory game, I really like the art style and the music. The only thing that frustrated my was the screen where you show the object. Meaby it's a better idea to use space to skip.

Thanks for playing! Good suggestion to skip with space instead of any key.
