Controls were a bit iffy, but I like the visual style and character design.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Nice visuals, love the isometric style. Some levels were easy with digging and some I had to dig multiple times around it to get the treasure out. But liked it nevertheless :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, the digging needs more work, but that's what I could do :)

Finished the game. Finding the treasure that is placed in the world. The only thing that made this game too easy it to get the treasure location from the green item. Not sure if this is the required behavior but I basically walk towards the green item, to find the treasure location and started digging.

I wish digging had a x amount of repeats you have to do in order to get the treasure. I had at one level where digging still did not allowed me to get the treasure, so I struggled a bit by attempting to dig around it and fighting myself to get the treasure. Eventually managed it, but it should not be the player’s fault for this case.

The last level showed two X’s, only did one and finished the game… I was expecting to dig both instead of one.

What was the purpose of the camera switch, I’ve tried pressing it, but did not felt any benefit compared to the overview camera?

Hey, thank you so much for giving such detailed feedback. Let's see how I can address it:

Indeed, the green spot on the map is there to help you. I couldn't test it much with users to figure out if I should keep it or not.

The digging needs to be improved indeed. You have to find it by digging quite a lot at some points. It was indeed not your fault, it is more of imprecision in the system.

Yes, the last level has a wrong X spot to confuse the player.

The camera switch was an attempt at giving other options. Some testers found it nice and preferred to use it, but some others, like you, thought it was not helping it at all.

Very cool visuals, I did not really understand the game because there was not really a visual que that I had to do something. Neat sounddesign. I don't know if the game did bug on me tho because when I grabbed the light nothing happened. The digging sound is a bit loud too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. You actually need to continue to dig in the direction of the light until you reach the treasure. Then you can proceed to the next level. Also, I appreciate the feedback on the sound being too loud :)

can't find the first treasure. its definately not on the marked X

Developer

It should be, but maybe you are not getting into the hole you are digging. As you move closer (also down), one bright light should appear to guide you better. I hope you have time (and interest) to give it another try later on, but thanks for playing and for the feedback.

ah so you mean i have to dig multiple times in the same spot?

Developer

Yes, you do. Unfortunately, you are the first playtester to have not noticed it, so I never considered it a problem or not clear. Thank you very much for the feedback :)
