Had a little trouble getting this to work and I am not sure I was doing it right but it was fun to fly around. Cool game!
It looks like the reason why the game crashes is due to the error message from godot interface :) Still had fun throwing away the yellow/gold blocks hahahaha. Tried also to use the helicopter as a way to deliver the block instead of using the three buff bodies there. Still a good job! :)
Wow! Submitted 1 minute 11 seconds before deadline, it worth the mention :D As I can see you also entered this gamejam solo, so I understand the difficulties to implement everything you would like to! I am glad that it didn't crash for me as it seemingly did for others. I really like voxel art in general so that was a huge plus for me, maybe add some more feedback to the player! Well Done!
I didn't really get a chance to play this enough as it kept crashing. I haven't rated it.
Cute game! The rescue concept was interesting, and it wasn't difficult to get a hang of playing. The helicopter felt smooth to control for me, too. I agree with what another comment said about possibly adding a UI in game to check the controls, as I also didn't know that I could pick things up until I checked the page. I also agree with another comment as well that adding damage via contact with the water or some sort of weight mechanic would be interesting as well, but I know that that does take time to implement, and I imagine is no easy task to put in in a week, let alone by a one person team.
Good work!
The game has a very interesting concept but laking of good responsive mechanics makes it a bit hard to enjoy it
Great concept it really fits with the theme I feel. The art style was nice and consistent which is always great. I feel there is a lot of potential in this if you were to take it further, like weight the helicopter down with more and more people or the water could hurt them if they touch. But I like what you have so far it is really cool and works well. Amazing job.
I rescued them all!
Pretty neat game. The buff boys were essential for that last golden block between the trees behind that door. The game crashed on me a couple times when I tried putting a dude on the lever to keep the door down, so I used the rock at the starting area of the game instead. Other than that, the game works perfectly! I didn't realize I could hold the blocks by holding the mouse button until I revisited the itch page of your game, perhaps an in-game tutorial or UI explaining those controls would be beneficial. Pretty great achievement considering it being made by just one person! Also nice safety net making sure the blocks respawn if they fall into the water. The graphics are cute and voxel style, which I'm a sucker for. Could have used audio but understandably not enough time for that kind of polish in just 1 week.
Nice submission!
I can't play the game :( It says that it couldn't load project data at path ",". Is the .pck file missing? Maybe you need to upload the build folder and not the executable file only :)
Hi,
Indeed I forgot to upload this file . I just reuploaded the game with the missing file as zip
Thanks ! :)
