Really fun game, nice introductory levels which did a good job introducing how to play. I liked the level design too, good work on this!

Last week I did my first playthrough of Portal (I know I'm very late to the game) and for some reason the minimalistic level design and mechanics reminded me of the game! It has to the potential to be expanded upon and make some really cool game out of it! Well done!

I liked the vibe of this one. Really good level design. Good use of space and verticality.

I enjoyed it. You put plenty of levels into it. The introduction levels did a good job of gently introducing the controls. Everything worked as expected. It felt a little flat at times and if I were to give advice I would say for a Jam entry you could have halved the number of levels and spent that time juicing up the core mechanics. It's a solid entry which I enjoyed playing.

Makes sense. I could have increased the ways in which you could interact with stuff with your arm.

Though if I had the time... I were to even double the levels! But I get it, quality over quantity...

Thanks for playing!

This was a pretty straightforward game, but I still had a blast playing! You had to be careful in where you threw your arm and positioned yourself, as if you weren't careful then the enemies could manage to get a good hit in. The bulk of the game centered around the mechanic of smacking enemies around with your projectile arm, but there was a platforming section that I found interesting (though I misjudged the distance and my jumping height a few times and leaped to my doom, haha). I would have loved to see more levels like that, but even without it it was still fun! I also agree with other comments that the addition of music would have been great.
It was a fun, fairly chill experience, and I had a good time. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks!

I made the platforming level at the last day, but even something that little changed the "taste" of the game a little bit imo. Would have absolutely added a few more levels like that if I had the time. Thanks for playing!

Noted: Find a music guy next time :)

Great fun. Having to pick up my arm from right by the enemies was the perfect punishment for sloppy shooting, and made me be more careful and precise. I'd love for more of the interactions to have audio, and a soundtrack could do a lot of mood-setting and fill out the narrative: Who am I? Where am I? Things can be implied in the music. I loved that sometimes, the levels were a lot easier if you just left something behind and RAN.

Great work for a solo entry! Doing everything is quite exhausting, isn't it?

Thanks for playing and commenting! I did have more ideas about narrative stuff: You were supposed to be a robot with a metal arm and you're escaping from a lab facility, sadly I couldn't make it work with the time I had, so this is all I could come up with.

I did leave behind my arm multiple times while playtesting as well, gives you a rush :)

As a solo entry it was really tiring, I'm also a guy with a really busy schedule, but publishing the game even as it is had me feeling great.
Thanks for playing!

It feels like a counterstrike game but instead of using guns you throw you "arm" (I think lol) to the enemies/explosive barrels. Great game and nice job. Would love to see changes on those prototype boxes hahaha Would be good to have some background music on it but overall, I love the play style. I keep running pass through the guards hahahaha

Developer

Hey, thank you! I never come up with good music with any of my games, maybe that's what I should work on. Also, like you said the prototype textures shouldn't really be there, it's mostly about time constraints... thanks for playing! :)

This looks really cool so far I can't wait to see more.

Developer

Thanks! Fps games are my go-to, so expect more stuff in the future!

Looks good! Light and not stressful at all. I like the levels and how physics was handled overall. great work! Hopefully you enjoyed making it too!

Developer

Thank you! I loved working on it too.
