I really like the lo-fi art style and sound. The game plays well for the most part, but I was confused as to how the card system worked and what the general purpose was. I think more description on the itch.io game page would've helped, or instructions/controls in the main menu. Nice work nonetheless, especially considering you are only one person on the team and doing what seems to be your first game jam! Congrats and best of luck!

The game really needs tutorial, especially because using Z and X as controls (i would advise to update at least itch.io description). Also didnt understand right away how to use cards, especially why to keep it. But i really like visuals and audio, gameplay is not bad overall

I'll leave it here from first try in case someone wants competition :)

I had fun playing this game! 😀

When it got darker the audio was a little annoying but I guess it's part of the experience haha! I liked all the different mechanics in the cards but i wish there was some indicator on where this card's effect is going to land (for example: the bow and arrow card) !

Good job! 😄

Loved the asthetic of the game and the use of cards on enemies a bit confusing but I think I got it in the end wish Enter was used instead of x in the main menu that took a bit to find. Overall well done!!

I actually really like this! I feel like I don't understand it fully; there's a lot of stuff I wish was explained. But the overall aesthetic was awesome, and I picked up the basics of how to play pretty quick (once I figured out how to use the x key, haha).

The audio is fine, it gets kind of rough on the ears when you're low on health though, with all those layering sawtooth signals.

A real achievement for a single dev! My favourite part is the artwork.
