I played this after watching Zack's stream, so I won't reiterate what he said too much - obviously the story is well written but disrupts the pace of the action-shooter gameplay, and the bullet-hell-like enemy onslaught is very challenging. That said, it's a fun, polished little top-down shooter underneath that and I had plenty of fun playing through it myself. Once you realize the boss attacks are short range and you can just cheese them by standing back a tiny bit, they're actually pretty easy and the smaller enemies are more of threat.

thanks so much for feedback, glad you enjoyed it!

Cool take on the genre, its like Vampire Survivors with quests that give you power ups. Dialogue was a little much but the gameplay was fun.

Thanks! Great to hear :)

A fun take on the vampire survivors thing! The writing and main character's design were a bit over the top for me personally, but the mech and projectiles were great and overall, I had quite a bit of fun trying to make it to all 4 corners.
It was unclear to me sometimes where the damage I just took came from since no projectiles seemed to be hitting me (might have been a bug?), and forcing me to get up close to each of the relic guardians to trigger the combat felt kinda unfair since they would immediately blast me with their massive close-range projectiles as soon as the dialogue ended, but otherwise the gameplay was solid imo.
Good job!

Good base, but there were a couple of things that were a serious turn-off for me at least. The music was extremely loud and the art style between assets clashed a bit. I did like the bullet heaven(?) aspect of the game though. Good job!

I liked there was a story, but in a jam (and even a triple A game) for an action game the story is really of no consequence. Trying to read it in tiny bits made me eventually just skip it. I think a story can work, but it needs to be much smaller. The game play was pretty cool, I really would have liked power ups (unless I missed them). As you take damage, your mech becomes weaker and weaker and without a power up, there's nothing you can really do other than eventually lose once you've taken some damage. Perhaps mixing up the enemies a bit would be good two. Like have some melee and then some range, so there's a difference between the enemies. Other than that, it was cool and the controls felt fluid to me. Well done!

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback!
Yeah, I agree the story was a bit long compared to the rest of the gameplay, I was thinking about it while writing it, but I did try my best to make the intro and final encounter interesting. The parts in between are relatively short.
About the gameplay, there are new, more powerful weapons that you automatically collect when you defeat each boss, replacing your old/broken equipment while also restoring a tiny bit of health.

OK, cool, I'll have to try it again and defeat the bosses!

OK, gave it another shot. I killed a few bosses, but would get smoked shortly after getting near the next boss. One of the issues I had was navigating around the platforms. I would get stuck and have to turn around just to get smoked by a bunch more enemies. I think if the difficulty level built, rather than being very difficult the entire time, it wouldn't be as frustrating. I mean, bosses are meant to be more difficult than the surrounding enemies, but the surrounding enemies were almost always the ones to wipe me out. It was fun though and interesting!

The artstyle is inconsistent. But I like the collect the relics in 4 corners of the map thing
