This was fun! The mouse controls have a visceral impact to them. The story is charming. The art is cute!

Great work!

You've got some good ideas with the mining ability and the dialogue system is handled really well! I hope to see you develop it further, thank you for sharing your work!

And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!

Since both mining for rocks and throwing them both requires you to spam, I recommend you to have one of them use the right mouse button instead. Of course this would need better tutorialization.

This game has two endings, one where you win, and one where you lose. I made it so you'd have to figure out how to win, instead of just showing it. Maybe that way it'd feel better when you actually do win.

Your game shows a lot of potential, but I noticed that the intro might be a bit lengthy. It could be beneficial to shorten it for a smoother start. Additionally, it might be worth considering the option to maximize the window in the itch.io page to improve the user experience.

The core idea of the game is enjoyable, and you could take it even further by integrating crafting elements for the campfire. Adding features like increased durability or more options could enhance the gameplay, making it even more engaging and fun. Keep up the great work!

I had to mess around a lot to figure out which buttons to use and what to do, but once I did I was having a really good time! I especially like that the game just knew which items to use without having to select the resources. Very smooth. Like another commenter said, if there was a full screen mode it would make the experience a lot smoother. Still, I enjoyed this one a lot!

Oh, and please check my game out and rate it when you get a chance!

You know I actually think there's a great game hidden in here! I liked the game mechanics and animations, but the screen window size is so tiny!! Plus there is really no helper text or instructions to guide the player. If you added tooltips/tutorial, made the screen bigger, I think you'd have a nice little game on your hands!
