How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
We made a plot about luck and a dice rolling mechanic.

Quite ambitious! It's not easy to make a full adventure game in 10 days. Exceptionally rough, but with charming art and a fun fantastical premise.
Congratulations on the submission!
A lot of cool ideas that maybe need a little bit more polish. I managed to find a cardboard box and the exit before doing anything else, which mentioned I got away safely with the dice :) So maybe a global variable that tracks where you are in the storyline/questline is a good option?
Maybe add a few more bars of music? The short loop gets a little repetitive over time.
Congratulations for finishing on time, I had trouble with builds as well ;)
Since this was made in unity, may I recommend making a web build next time? People are a lot more willing to play a game if they don't have to download it.
I wasn't quite sure what was happening with the random dice rolling mechanic, but I liked the overall experience.
Hello everyone, I'm the programmer of the game.
I've gotten multiple reports of game breaking bugs, and being able to wallhack in certain places.
If that happened to you, would you kindly leave an answer to this comment, explaining what happened and where, so I can more easily fix it after the jam ?
Thank you!
(Note, the poison thing is known and fixed on my local version)
Infiltrating a military base makes for a fun setpiece, I'd say one of the more memorable I've seen on the jam so far. Exploring around for items and tools that change the environment is simple yet effective.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of bugs that affect the playability quite a bit. I'd also add in, it's a little difficult to keep track of everything that's happening. At times it seems like I'm accidentally collecting an item early, and possibly missing out on the context for why it's important that I found X or Y. A lot of my navigation felt a little random, like I was roaming aimlessly. Having something like signs around the base might've helped to direct me to my current goals.
Liked the game but couldn't finish it due to some bugs. When going in a room interacting with an item would glitch the audio and that item cant be picked up. I played it for like half an hour, found the white paint then went in every room and tried to find some more items to finish the game but the only item left was the one in the bugged room. There were also some collision bugs that allowed the player to walk out of some map rooms. Some guards could also detect me even when I had the uniform. I really liked the story telling and the gameboy feel was captured really good :)
Hi, programmer of the game here.
First of all, thank you for your comment, and I'm very happy to read that you liked it!
Apologies for the game breaking bug, this project was finished in a very panicky way (submitted within the last minute).
Due to the jam's rules, I can't update it yet, but will make a patched version afterwards.
As for the uniform thing, it's normal, wearing it just makes the detection be a dice roll instead of an automatic failure.
