This is the kind of game I love seeing in game jams, really interesting concept! Nice work!

One of the most interesting entries. Nice visuals, very retro (which is good!) music and original concept. Once I understood how the gameplay works I really enjoyed it!

That was really fun! I was not expecting planet pool. Great work!

Interesting mechanic, I didn't quite get what to do but it was at least fun to try to figure it out.  Great gameboy soul with the graphics, sound, music, etc.

Thanks for playing!

I'm definitely adding a tutorial or a 'How to Play' screen if I revisit this game post jam.

This has a lot going for it: attractive graphics, solid sound effects, catchy soundtrack, and most of all, quite an original concept and central gameplay mechanic! Capturing planets like a game of snooker is, well, very cool.

My only reservation is that there didn't seem to be much variety in the gameplay: each level appeared to be the same. It occurred to me that different types of planets may have different attributes, but I wasn't able to detect this through the game.

Were there other options besides "Battle"?

Thanks for playing!

Your reservations are spot on. I had a lot more planned, but ran out of time.

Technically there is a difference in the physics for each planet type, but I barely had a chance to implement it, let alone test/balance it properly.

I also wanted to include a screen where you could review the planets you caught and their stats, but I had to cut it to make the deadline.
