This is cool! The opening animation is so good. The pixel art is so clean and polished there. The rest of the game doesn't quite live up to that level, but I bet it will with a little more work
Thanks for noticing! There was a lot of love put into the opening frames. And aside from getting around tile restrictions (a lot of backgrounds had to be reduced ad hoc to fit the 192 tile restriction) there's a lot of polishing up to do. But it will come!
I bet that took a ton of work. They look awesome FYI if you don't use any of GB Studio's built in text dialogs, you can use up to 256 tiles in a screen. So you should be able to for things like the intro animation. That makes things a bit easier
