Nice work, this looks great, and the physics are fun to play with, I like that the jump increases power when you hold the jump key. The parallax background and snow particles are really nice for the ambiance and the platform graphics look great.
It gets pretty hard pretty quickly, I would add a bit more just movement and easy jumps to the game to get the user used to the controls before you die a bunch.
There's a little ledge next to the first cliff for the first jump, I'm not sure why it's there because if you go down there, the only way to go is back up to the right.
My impression is that the best way to stay on the moving ice platforms it by doing a bunch of little jumps, I'm not sure if that's intended.
The second level is really hard, it seems like the challenge goes from 0 to 60 all of a sudden. I could only make it to the ice platform a few times after trying a bunch, and then I kept running into the block platform with the cherry and dying.
I think the fun of a game with this kind of physics is going fast and jumping high and timing jumps, but it feels a little to difficult in this version, I would add some more easy jump to get the player going and be able to string together a few jumps in a row.
Honestly, I put Celeste's music alongside the gameplay, and I can confidently say that this game could be heavily inspired by Celeste. Mostly the character, the cherries (Strawberries in Celeste as well), and just the overall background of the game entirely. I really love the way the character showed emotion in-game, via the walking and falling animation. You put your heart and soul into it, and I forever want to see what more you can bring to the video game industry!
I was personally looking forward to trying out this one (considering I admired your pixel artstyle), and I would like to compliment you on the game's overall design and simplicity, it reminds me of classic flash games I used to play in school when I got bored. However, I will say the 2nd room was difficult to complete, considering I was unable to get from the moving platform to the other platform. Otherwise, gg!
Hi Lily, I can tell there's a passion for gaming here, unless you made a pixel perfect prototype just because. Either way the game feels very nice on the controls and art is gentle on the eyes. I relish in the fact that there's less friction for the character's movement due to the environment being snowy/icy. With something so near polished, it makes it harder to find a complaint that isn't nitpicking, so in this instance, I'd make a suggestion to raising the icy block with the cherry on it, as it seems like the jump is a bit more of RNG, rather than skilled timing from the moving platform the character is on. Especially since the max jump height can cover the distance to the fruit even after making the from before. In addition, maybe an enemy or 2 would be nice or a map feature ( not sure if you can but you seem capable) Like a 5 second blizzard storm to hinder the player's vision randomly. Otherwise great game overall!

I like the winter theme and how smooth the game runs.

This is Really cool! I think some sound effects would be nice as well as a lower level since you can go through platforms if you hit down.
