I really like the graphics in the game. Unfortunately, the invisible walls are quite jarring. There are also a few placeholders, and it's not possible to attack up or down.
PS: The amount of data in the console log is huge — that should not be visible in the final build ;)
PS2: The game would benefit a lot from being playable in a web version.
Congratulations on finishing the game!
amazing effort and nice game.
You were right- this is short! But there are a lot of things you got right: the art, sfx, and a cohesive story! A lot of people let the sfx, art, and/or story take a backseat during these short game jams, but you included it all and it was great!
I will echo what someone already mentioned - I also had trouble with a few invisible colliders and a few of the enemies didn't have sprites.
The hitbox was giant (I could see it and some of the lines for the colliders for some reason) which was good since I didn't really have a way to attack up or down. Something to consider for the combat would be implementing this. I would also say that adding juice - hitstop, hitflash, vfx on hits, etc - could add a lot.
Otherwise, this was great! good job on this game!
nice little game 👍
It's nice to see someone tries alternative game engines. But it's a hard call. so I had a debug terminal launched, it seems that part of collisions are failed along with some sprites, also there are some debug collision lines were present on screen.
Yikes, I thought I'd gotten the collision all working. Thanks for letting me know! I'll take a look at it
