Thanks so much to everyone who commented! For some reason I didn't get any email notifications saying people commented, and I didn't expect anyone to see the game, so I didn't even think to check!
PICO-8 is a bit of a special beast, and the PNG images actually contain the entire game within the image. It's super neat! That said, I should have also uploaded it to the website so that people could play it without needing to own PICO-8, I was just a bit hesitant because I didn't have confidence in the game. So, sorry about that. I've gone ahead and fixed it, so you should be able to try it now (keep your expectations low, haha). Thanks for taking the time to comment and care, and for giving me the incentive to keep up with it!

I got to say it was a risky choice to make a game for PICO-8 as you can see, quite some people don’t have any idea about that.
I had fun playing your game. The only issue I found was, when you hit too many people without collecting all the coins, then the amount of coins will slow down the game drastically. Still great little game, good job :)
As this submission doesn’t get much love because of PICO-8, I decided to record a playthrough. So if you can’t play it yourself, but still want to give it a rating, check out my video :)

Yeah, whew, there are some definite memory issues. I wasn't able to figure out how to despawn guys once they went off-screen, and the game really starts to chug, haha. It's one of the next things I need to fix. I very much appreciate the kind words, and will work to clean it all up!
