A nice start liked the idea

Keep up the good work!

I do like the idea behind this game. Cool to mix the turn-based tactics of a boardgame with a real-time combat system when you take a piece. I can see a lot of potential you could do with this.

Nice idea - pity you didn't have the time to implement the enemy movement.

The idea is nice! However, the "turn based" part of the game really needs some work, cause the opponent does nothing, and I don't see the point of having a chess board, when there is no real strategy. But it's a start for a good concept! Good music

Good job for the time given im not sure if its a bug but after my piece reaches the enemy the board clears and the grid system breaks but good job

Unfortunately with the old machine I carry around on the road I can't play it myself. When you try to capture an enemy piece, what is supposed to happen is that the game switches into battle mode, which is why you're not moving turn-based from tile to tile anymore.

Feedback for the transition to battle mode (and back) is most likely still missing, though...

Nice work for the amount of time! If you want to test our game we would be really happy:

No need to beg for getting my feedback, but since you did I'm *less* inclined to check it out ;)

I can't test it until I'm back home, anyway...

Gave it a try, obviously not complete yet but some solid work there.

Thank you for the feedback

I had to disable the Linux build download for the Jam rating since it couldn't be updated to the other builds (in time) and currently I have no system at hand to do the build myself (nor the Internet connection that would allow me the upload).
