Nice game. Mini map or arrows showing the direction of the portals or closest portal might be good. Probably not enough time to implement during the jam but just a thought.
Good concept, and well scoped for a game jam. Movement and shooting are satisfying enough, due to some good choices such as high shot speed and how the camera shows more of the direction you're walking away from so you can shoot behind you as you're chased. Good job on the spritework too.
