It's chess... but I don't see how it fits the game jam theme.
Also, the game doesn't end on a check. In fact, the AI made a move that should be illegal, by unprotecting the king from a check. XD
yeah I'm not exactly trying to win the game jam just wanted a free course and to see if I could make something in less than 3 days. I set my self a pretty low bar as I've been working a lot of extra hours at work. I know there are still some bugs I plan on working on those on the bank holidays. Thank you for your feedback.
Awesome job on the game. I love chess.
only issue I saw was that when you put white in check. they can still move any of the other pieces. Only pieces you should be able to move are any piece that can block the check or take the piece that has you in check.
Other then that.. very nice job

It’s a chess :) The music is cool! Would be cool if pieces would fit the theme though… btw… I couldn’t capture a pawn (maybe it’s not fully implemented yet?)
yeah to be honest I didn't start working on it till last Saturday as I've been working a lot of extra hours at my day job but I really wanted to have a go anyway. You should have been able to capture a pawn, it's only stuff like casting, pawn promotion and en passant I never implemented, but ill look into it and try and fix it, thank you for your feedback :)
I can't play the game because UnityPlayer.dll was not found.
Hi Iron, thank you for letting me know, I didn't realise, this is the first time actually sharing a game (I have made a few but never published any) I have now updated the windows file download and uploaded a WebGL as well to play in the browser.
I played many chess games over the years and jams but this was the first 3d one, I loved it and the music was just perfect for the vibe but that's only my opinion.
Keep it up ;)
