By the way how do even get to fall down into the 3rd screen shot, I was out of the game after the 50 gem boulder.

Is it such toughness that you only advance to that room if you made -no- mistakes at all like a 100% completion Metroid type criterion? Easter egg level?

This is a bit of an IQ test and I was failing it i have no shame in saying when you get to the big thing with 50 gems.

But: the test of how much I liked it is I am willing to ramble on about how potentially this is a huge 2D world in either direction like original Activision Pitfall if you were to combine the 2 games.  Little guy could be dodging scorpions and swinging ropes to get at gems.  Or even letting him go vertical like Bagman.  This is a solid basis for that.

Great idea for a game and I liked how you implemented balance with the scales! I love the fluidity of the jump physics. There were some odd times where I would press the jump button and my character wouldn’t jump, but it didn’t happen too often.  I really liked the art as well!

It's alright. Clear Minecraft influence. The small bits of metroid-vania gameplay were a nice surprise.

This is really nice! The rules are just obscure enough to make winning feel like an accomplishment. I goddammitted a few times, picking up one too many ores by mistake. Great use of balance there!

Your game is very slow and almost nothing happens. Maybe there is some way to speed up the progress? Not sure I understand what it is about. Good job for a first game!
