Very enjoyable game! It was a bit hard to get used to at first, but once you do the controls are really satisfying. The visuals of your game were awesome! I really liked the audio too.

I've never played Wario Land 3, but the game felt pretty original to me. I really enjoyed the implementation of the obstacles and the different clubs.

The only thing I think could use a bit of polishing are the trajectories of the eggs and the camera movement. The camera movement wasn't very smooth and felt a bit choppy. The fact the putter makes the egg lifts up in the air doesn't make much sense. You could maybe make it lift but not as much. I would also review the anchor of the egg, because the rotation axis of it makes it looks very weird and rough when its spinning in the air.

Well done on contributing an awesome game like this to the jam!

Thank you so much for your nice feedback!

Th camera  movement is honestly because of a lack of skills on my side ^^'.  It's quite hard to manipulate scroll view based on CSS position with vanilla JS, I think my method is a bit too naive.
What you said about the putter and the lift  is so true... I don't get why it didn't cross my mind when developing it, I'll fix that in a v2, for sure x)

Thanks again for your  valuable advices :)

Cute, simple and fun!

Absolutely love the art style, and dinosaur + golf club puns.

Developer

Thank you!
Glad the puns on dinosaur names make you smile :D

Cute little game, although I can't get used to the controls.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, and sorry about the controls. I'll try to  finetune them a bit after the jam ^^'

I like the gameplay and graphics. When the egg was in the grass, hiding some of the power bar was a really nice touch. At first, I thought the grey dinosaur was an unplayable character :P Maybe some stronger saturated colors would help. Good job on the entry

Developer(+1)

Interesting that you thought about the grey dinosaur being an unlockable one! I take your point about colors, I'll may update all of that in a future version of the game. Thanks for your feedback :)

I never played Wario Games.

But making the second click on the way back is too hard for me. I missed so many pars :-(

Developer

Erf, sorry for that! Is it because the second cursor is too fast? I may adjust a bit some variables after the jam.
Thanks for your feedback :)

That might be it. Or make the bar in itself longer, so it is easier to time the second click.

Also … is there some kind of wind blowing the egg in the opposite direction? The physics made it appear so.

Developer

No winds nor complexe physics, it's simply some CSS transitions with ease timing-functions ^^

Game looks great! However I wasn't actually able to get it in the target.

Not sure if I was doing something wrong but no matter how little I stopped on the bar it still just got hit over.

Developer

Oh, sorry for that...!
May I know on which browser you tried to play? It supposes to work on last version of Chrome, Firefox and Edge, but with web we never know ^^'
For your information, controls don't work very well on mobile, and we need a full click on the button, not just a mousedown: maybe that's you issue.

This could be just my fault, I played it on Chrome.
