I tried to take one of the boxes from the first room all the way to the end. it got stuck in a wall, falling out of bounds and it will be missed. Great puzzle design with solid mechanics and a good grasp on the theme. Hopefully you will continue working on this project as it does show a lot of promise. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback, I really love when people try to play the game in unintended way.

For the continuation of the game, I would say that people didn't like to play it, even when I try to market the game on different social media platforms. The response wasn't even a good enough to continue my journey for this game.

We went with a very similar mechanic although we went a different direction with it. You definitely nailed the very portal-esque feel and the first puzzle with the card icons was a great combination of ideas. Like others have said, having to press the button for power was tedious especially since you had to wait for it to recharge. I also frequently came across weird geometry situations where I would clip on the corner of a wall or I kept sticking to the first boxes puzzles so it was hard to jump up them originally. These were fairly minor issues though and the core concept is really well done. Nice entry overall!

Thank you soo much for playing my game and also for the feedback. I also see your submission, it is looking good, downloading it now.

I already made  6-7 types of scaling objects but due to shortage of time, couldn't make a puzzle out of it. I use only 3 different scaling objects in the game, those are the basics once. Some completed scaling objects aren't used in the project.

You managed to do quite a bit with just the three objects so I'm sure the rest of them would make it even better too. Definitely the time crunch doesn't help get those ideas in though. We wanted to add a couple more challenges to ours too such as fans that would push the player in different directions but we had to scrap them in the last stretch.

I hated  that I need to press again and again to get charges. Just give us all off them at once?

It also seems unlimited which normally just broke any puzzle but the main puzzle was how would I make that 3 red boxes bigger. I could not move them and scaling up was not working how I would think it will.  The game started as portal "just 1 box on 1 button" but it did not stayed faithful to that simplicity. Second part should have been "just 1 red box with 1 charge"

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback. Hopes you enjoyed playing it, I already made a six different types of scaling objects but couldn't make a level out of it cause of Game Jam Time Limit.

there's 1-2 room that's based on the limited charges, So that's why I couldn't make it consume all at once.

I decided to start the game with 2-3 Grabbable objects, so I can taught the player that the whole game is not only based on specified move like in chess. About starting mechanics with 3 scaling objects on top of each other, so the solution isn't obvious, that you have to scale the one object, then climb and easily escape the room. So it's wasn't too simple and also not too complicated and introduced the player how the game works.

It's funny how we had more or less the same idea, but diverged a little. It was fun to play your game, congrats :)

I see some potential here, but as other people said, there are some problems, for me the first level with the boxes glitched and had to restart the game, then the first one with the cards simbols I just couldn't figure out, it's a really cool concept from what I've seen, I reccomend you stick with it!

The puzzles make use of the main mechanic, but the game itself is quite hard to play due to bugs and unexpected behaviours. As @bryengx has said, the game has potential, but you should work on polishing the round edges of your project:

  • Grabable boxes can get out of bounds and dissapear if you are not careful when moving them around
  • Grabbing an item should be a toggle in my opinion
  • The controls feel a bit rough, specially crouching

Make sure to fix those things as the concept of the game is cool! 😊

Grabbing is Now Toggle.

I really tried two days fixing the grabble object but couldn't.

Could be promising but has too many problems right now.

On level 2 with 3 boxes I had difficulties jumping on the top box as it was a bit larget than the first one for no reason. So I though I messed something up and pressed reset. after reset none of the 3 boxed worked properly so I had to close game.
Also in very first level when I pick up blox it won't collide normally and can be flipped through the floor or walls. Also it would feel much better if I could press E just once to pick item and again to release instead of holding E constantly.

In latter levels I feel like physics no always works out the intended way so sometimes I need to reset even when I do things intended way.

I love portal and I love white rooms but I could not play your game.

1- You should confine mouse in game borders. I am using 2 monitor setup and mouse was going out of the game.
2-The first 2 boxes just went down the floor when I touch them. These can be the result of first problem.

Reply me If you fix it so I can play and rate.

Very solid puzzle design. I had a good time playing it. However I think there is a bug preventing me to change the size of boxes. So I only made it to level 5 or 6.
