Great music, good gameplay, scream was amazing

Suggestions:

  • Allow buffering jumps a little bit before you land.
  • Move the camera higher (maybe keep it in a fixed position instead of being anchored to the character?) or make the objects in front of the character translucent instead of making the camera collide with the objects.
  • I manged to softlock the game by making the character stop sliding while underneath a obstacle you had to duck for. The pause menu wouldn't appear and the camera got stuck.

First off, thank you for playing! And thank you for the feedback! The camera has been mentioned as an issue by others and I already have a few ideas on how I would fix it were there time left in the jam. By bufferings jumps I assume you mean allow the player to press the jump a little bit before they land and then they will still jump (or at least jump when they land)? We never thought of that but it sounds like a good idea to try out! And that last one is a weird one as you are supposed to die and then the level restart after a short delay, which sounds like that didn't happen so thank you for pointing that one out!

I used to loved auto runners, and this one made me have a good time too. The setting and background music are great, and the level selector clearly shows the progress and makes you wanna play some more. I just had some issues with objects collisioning with the camera and the absence of a controls screen.

Good job!

Great music and theme! There were some issues with the camera bumping into some of the blocks, especially in the first level. It wasn’t clear about the time slowing, but I was able to beat it without it so it didn’t seem needed. Would like to see more levels!

I was able to replicate your issue, it definitely has something to do with the Spring Arm Component. Since it's a few days after the jam it's probably too late for me to do bug fixes, but after seeing this I have a couple ideas of how I could avoid this in the future. Thanks for pointing this out and thanks for playing!

bg music and the scream is next level. Nice take on runner with time slowing mechanics.

Super pretty and great sounding game. The title screens are cool, the music is jammin and always a fan of the Wilhelm scream. Technically pretty fun, does the temple run loop with a cool slide, slow time, and attack mechanic. The controls are a little odd with the mouse only serving as a time slow. Also I kept occasionally getting stuck on objects which meant I had to restart my game and progress. Definitely the most styling game I've seen here tho and I love the 3d object in the titles.
