Best game I've ever played in this jam. The only thing that I didn't have motivation to kill summons of second bosses in 1 phase and summons of the 3rd boss in the second phase because they don't really harm me.

UI is great, sound settings, controls. The only thing is that font is low-readable in my opinion.

Visuals and Music are well fitting to the game and very polished IMHO. Cool!

I don't like that you only can shoot or move in the same time. For example If you kill enemy and enemy drops health then you need to hover mouse on health to move to it. You cannot chose another target to shoot when you are moving to health kit.

Overall game looks good in the design I think. It's very difficult to figure out some of the mechanics, what they do and how they work. For example, the face with the first boss could be made easier to understand by simply making feedback in the form of a small animation in the color of the sprite during the hit

I liked the mechanics of the samurai. Samurai fight is not designed IMHO but concept is new and therefore interesting.

If I were you, I would do less mechanics, but more polished ones. ( Our game may also suffer from too many mechanics without being polished. 😅 ).

Overall game is cool!

Amazing game.  I killed 3 bosses and went out after seeing 2 bosses in the same time. If I were have more time I  would try to kill them. Great work for only one month. Congratulations!

The fact that there is also an elaborated menu with controls and settings makes me happy. I think It's important!

I really like the design of the battle system. In fact you can beat the game without getting any damage. The key to it is stay focused all the time. Bosses cannot hit you unless you bump into obstacle. I think It's the reason why there are obstacles on the arena but I may be wrong. System design is great!

I've met bug when third boss is AFK, I don't know the reason. May be he's afraid of me 😎.

Yes, you are right. Boss should have less HP.

Idea is interesting but controls are quite hard to grasp. There is a control section on the game page, but it would be more convenient if the game offered to study each mechanic on a separate level for studying this mechanic. And also player (me lol) may not to take the green heart and therefore play without recall mechanic.

I like hard core games. Though I don't have time now to complete it but I may found time in future. 

These statements are just my humble opinion. Do not take it to heart <3

Pros:

  • I like how controls are showed at the start f the game. It's convenient.
  • Various location, various art environment. I like diversity. It reminds me of the TES:Skyrim that I am playing.

Cons:

  • It would be cool If player's velocity set to zero on DOWN press. I found it difficult to dodge "spikes" on the first boss on full speed. Game forces me to move slowly because of momentum. So to stop instantly I need press away LEFT or RIGHT button... mmm OK. It's not drawback actually, just my taste.
  • The second boss does not have any feedback about taking damage from the player. It's frustrating. I see that there is slight red tint but for the second boss It's very very subtle, hard to notice. And another things It seems to me that wave height is too big but I may be wrong.   I've came to game's page and saw that I have double jump xD. There is a situation when boss make side attack and wave attack simultaneously, no way to dodge this, It could be fixed by lower duration of side attack presence in the level.
  • Some more SFX would have been nice.

We had a similar brainstorm idea but chose a different one, but I'm really glad someone did it. I like it and even believe that this concept may have a commercial future.
Even though the game is short (and too short If you use bug: when you press concrete button all your heroes respawn),  It's fun. Heroes management and ability to combine them is cool, the only thing that I'd like to buy more than 1 hero each round. 
Next statements are only my humble opinion.
Pros:

  • The ability to kite enemies with a melee hero during range heroes attack. It reminds me of micromanagement from RTS(Starcraft1/2). If I were you, I'd like to emphasize this feature and make it so that the player needs to do micro management more. Really like this.
  • Clear visuals and user-friendly interface.
  • Convenient controls.

Cons:

  • No sound settings. This is a very convenient feature that is easy to do and very useful for players.
  • Economy is not balanced at all, there is no risk. It's not really a con because It doesn't spoil overall experience for this short amount of time.
  • Too easy last boss, not very interesting.

I like tower defense. It was interesting to figure out which weapons fit to which enemies. Though I could not place 6th tower, may be It was intended. I don't really understand theme interpolation, but overall not bad.

The most engaging gameplay I've seen so far. Organic Soundtrack/SFX. Nice graphics. I've got 51. Who did get more?)  

It was pleasure to play this game. As was said art, music are excellent. Gameplay mechanic with increasing damage per bounce was not very clear till I read it, but still was fun. For me is the most highly rated game so far! I think you had happy time doing this, congratulations!
