Well done with the aesthetics and audio of this game - it gives some great feedback. Love the UI menu at the start, too. Almost got stuck trying to purchase things, some how I got out of the menu.
Kind of frustrating that I couldn't catch the cats and dogs at the edge, but I'm sure that's a pretty easy fix -- or a bug to keep. Good work.
This game reminds me of one of the first ever mobile games I made several years ago (it was called Drops! by miniature giants on google play if you're ever interested). It was a terrible game in hindsight, but this creation of yours is such a good take on that core mechanic. I thought both the graphics and audio were far above average compared to other jam entries in general. I had some issues in being able to collect drops that were to the far edges of the screen. Good challenge and will make a nice mobile game when you release it there. Good job.

Funny game, I like the theme interpretation.
The art is great and the game is challenging enough. The only problem though as mentioned in another comment is that if the cats and dogs fall on the far left or right it's impossible to get them.
I really liked the sounds of the dogs and cats that hit the ground ahahha.

Glad you enjoyed the game :). If your upgrade the speed on the vehicle you will be able to reach the sides , if not, I will change the reach distance for the vehicle. The sound is from kenney assets. https://www.kenney.nl/
Really fun to play, would be great as a mobile game. The vehicle cannot catch the cat / dog near the building :(
