Great use of the theme! The dialogue had a very personal feel to it which kept me engaged. It was a bit inorganic in places and the player character could come off as a bit preachy at times. It didn't feel like the dialogue choices  had much of an impact on the overall direction of the conversation. I would also recommend doing a spelling/grammar pass again as there were a lot of errors.

The video in the background looks nice but it loops a bit too frequently to the point of being distracting. My main suggestion is adding a hovering effect to text you can interact with even if it's just highlighting the text. Also an "Exit" option at the end of the game or having the app close after a few seconds.

Overall one of the more thoughtful approaches to the theme. Great work!

Damn, this was good. how would you know the SFX was good well I know that it was cause it made me feel like it's a rainy evening all gloomy in my bed about to take a nap chatting with someone over text. All I mean when I say that is you have nailed the feel. I saw the others games on your page the cover images look cool will check those out too someday. Best of luck mate :) And also you deserve more ratings than me, this game is super underrated. If someone is reading this but hasn't played it till now, well give it a try.

I was able to install the game. I needed to use the web interface to download the rar file and then unrar. But if you want other people to play your games you need to  help them too. So a few feedback.

1. Use zip format not rar. Seems like itch.io butler cannot process rar files and people may not know that.

2.  Text speed was a bit fast at times I've missed some of them. Should be good if instead of auto-rolling dialogue, user click would change the text. But still I was able to read most of them. I am a slow reader :)

3. The choice of background image, sound and the  effects were great. I felt like I was with a friend in a French café.   Well done!
