Help “Find the Cure” in the third official GAB Jam! We’ve teamed up with JDRF, a nonprofit that funds type 1 diabetes research, for a game jam themed around finding the cure. 

What is the cure? That’s up to you! Get creative with the theme and work it into your gameplay, presentation, or story. Our favorite entries will be streamed on the JDRF Twitch Channel after the jam ends and are eligible for prizes valuing $500+ in total! More details below.

We’ve also teamed up with Humble Bundle to provide a wide variety of game creation assets from the GAB team. There are currently 49 asset packs at 95% off with more to come! Part of the proceeds also go directly to JDRF.

The theme this jam is: FIND THE CURE

In-line with JDRF's mission, we wanted to theme our third game jam around finding the cure. We encourage entrants to get creative with the theme. It doesn't have to be just finding a cure for an illness. Perhaps our AI overlords have decided that mankind is a disease and they are the cure. Remember, your entry will be partially judged based on how well it fits the theme!

Who can enter? Anyone, of any age, from anywhere. You can work alone or in teams.

What can I make my game in? Anything, provided you can upload a file that runs on Windows or browsers.

What assets can I use? You can use whatever assets you have legal right to use. Check your license and make sure to give credit to the creators!

Who will judge the games? Games will be rated by the public after the jam ends. After the voting period ends, a team of judges from GAB will  play the top ranked entries. The judges' top 3 picks will win prizes!

What will the games be judged on? Games will be ranked on the following: Presentation, Gameplay, Engagement, and Theme.

What can I win? Fame, glory, self-satisfaction... and a prize package of asset packs detailed below!

What is GAB Jam? 
A game jam in association with the good folk at Game Asset Bundle (GAB). Work alone or in a team to complete a game that fits the theme. After submissions close, play and vote on your favorite entries. The top rated entries will be played by the GAB team and winners will receive a prize package detailed below!

Games submitted to the GAB Jam must not contain nudity, or hateful language or visuals. 
You can support other platforms (such as Mac and Android) if you wish, provided there's at least one Windows / browser build. 
No VR submissions.
