Very soothing and relaxing indeed. Though I got stuck at that part where you gotta hit the space bar. I got so close to reaching the rainbow but the gust of air is too strong for some reason ๐Ÿ˜… Good entry overall, I understood where you were heading with the game.

Developer

Thank you!! Yeah I realized the gust of wind was kind of strong, BUUT what I didn't add was an indirect hint. You were actually supposed to use 2 buttons to help you get through it, which was the right arrow key and spacebar XD

Wow what a nice game to play, its definitely good for the soul :) It's great to see a game with a positive message like this. In terms of mechanics, I got stuck on the gust part of the game and could not figure it out for the life of me, only after reading the comments did I figure out it doesn't end there. If I'm not mistaken space bar isn't part of the controls in the description so that threw me off I think. Also from a movement perspective just a small thing I noticed is you move faster diagonally than orthogonally, not sure if that's intentional but  thought I'd mention it. Overall very enjoyable and put a smile on my face!

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I intentionally didnt add the controls to fight the gust of wind to give yall a challenge and see how yall would perservere in the situation ๐Ÿ˜€. And I don't think your wrong, I probably forgot to normalize the diagonal movement ๐Ÿ˜‚.

No problem! Ah that's sneaky, I like it lol, although it might be a big enough wall for some players that they wouldn't know there's more to it haha.

Developer

True  true. I'll make sure to add an indirect hint nextime.

Nice job! The music and overall aesthetic was very nice and relaxing (until I hit the gust of wind lol then I felt trapped)

A couple nitpicks:

The gust of wind seems to get more powerful the longer you take to fight it? The first time I played I wasn't sure what key to press at first and by the time I figured it out it was like I got pushed too far and couldn't reach the rainbow. Tried refreshing and made it through instantly.

The yellow text on the white cloud background was kind of hard to read (could be my monitor). Maybe give it an outline or move it below onto the grass so there's more contrast?

Overall, great job!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the guest of wind gets stronger the longer you try to push through the wind. There were actually 2 controls you use to try and push through which sould of been spacebar and the right arrow key hopefully. I was testing through this for a long time ๐Ÿ˜‚. And thanks for bringing the tedt issue to my attenion. Perhaps I shouldnt use yellow on any light backgrounds. ๐Ÿ’€

Developer

Thank you! And don't mention it! :D
