I loved the first one, and this is clearly an improvement. Great job pal !

The concept of this stealth game is nice, seen in many cool games. Though I didn’t understand why you had to add motion blur to your game, adding some bloom would’ve been better. But overall this game does have some other good design aspects for the time it was made in. Great job.

Thanks! Actually have both bloom and blur in there and a few other post processing effects like ambient occlusion and a tad of chromatic aberration. I probably went a bit overboard on the motion blur haha, it looks much worse at lower frame rates. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like the idea of this game, that being said it requires lots of patience. I wasn't able to complete the game but I like how there's more challenges than just staying in the shadow and door timing(like dodging the flashlight guy).  The hit detection was a bit inconsistent but that's ok given the complexity of the game. Great job!

Very cool and challenging game indeed! I like the utilization of the 3D assets.

(Now for a secret, asset link please?)

Thanks!

Vast majority of assets come from here: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/sci-fi/snaps-prototype-sci...

A couple things from here to (I think): https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/sci-fi/free-lowpoly-scifi-...

And enemies are from the Polyperfect pack that was in a humble bundle a bit ago: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/props/low-poly-ultimate-pack-54733

For a 3D game, this really amazed me. The idea behind this was superb and I enjoy types of games like these! It was challenging for me to try and find the exit AND try to avoid all the characters and shining their lights at me. Although, I feel I ran into a few problems:

  • The shadow always attaches itself automatically to a characters shadow when I encounter one. This has caused me to get caught a bunch of times even though I wanted to just stay put. I feel you should probably add a certain key to allow players to enter and exit a characters shadow.
  • The colliders seemed a bit messy for some reason. When I was close to the edge wall and I tried to move left to go through the gate, It was like I was stuck and couldn't go through. I had to move down a bit in order to make my character move.

Overall, this game was a blast to play and it would of also been nice if there was music! :D (Sorry if I kind of sounded judgemental! I just love to give my feedback and find ways the game can be improved if needed.)

Thanks for the feedback! Doesn't sound judgmental, its very helpful and I really appreciate it!

If I continue working on this I may make it so you have to hold a button down to follow shadows or you only follow when you aren't already in a shadow. Or may remove following shadows entirely as its kind of an artifact of the previous version where those were the ONLY shadows in the game.

You got a point there. It sounds great and looking forward to seeing an updated version of it!
