I'm abit confused on what exacly is an 'analogue game'.

could someone explain it abit more indepth,

my idea is an open sandbox style game where your the entity that the folklore/legend is based on. almost a survival game where you have to be spotted asmany times as you can without actualy getting caught.

It is basically what itch.io defines as a physical game.

For people in the tabletop RPG sphere, "digital" and "physical" is often used to differentiate digital PDFs and actual physical books. Thus, analogue is often the preferred term when we talk about non-video games.

Sorry, may I still ask for clarifications? So we'll be submitting card games and boardgames in physical format? Am I right in assuming that videogame version of card games or board games aren't considered analogue?

For analogue games on itch.io, most people would make board/card games in pdf and/or print-to-play format.

Coding the rules of a board/card game would take much longer than just writing them in plain English. ^^"

To answer your question, we are not expecting entries of digital board/card games.

ahh. so its for pen and paper games and not a computer game, bummer.
