I made most of the art myself using open source software like Blender, Gimp and Krita, but used one or two things from other people. Music and sound effects are by others. Credits listed on game page.

This is really cool, the visuals and the gameplay are great. I got to about 8000 points when I looked for the pause button and read through the description. I think you really succeeded in getting that flow state. The main problem I have is that after a while I just wondered if the difficulty would spike up because with 3 hearts it really is hard to die. But overall this is amazing!
the game is very forgiving it almost feels impossible to die even with hard mode so its hard to sense the challengr but other than that its really fun !
I actually get a lot of criticism for my games being too difficult. Just check out this one to see what I mean: https://itch.io/jam/dcjam2024/rate/2617582. So, I think I went the other way with this entry.
nice effects you have there ... I like that it is kinda forgiving, gives you a second chance when a whale shark gets you ... if feels very good vibes and partying in the beach ... I love the colors and all, with more different sharks (I have seen ones with different colors and slightly different behaviors) this could be a very frenetic good runner
The visuals and shaders were really cool! The water shader was the most stunning retro shader I've seen. Also I like the amount of post processing.

Visuals were out of this world. Just so fun, and I can't believe how good the random level generation is.
