I loved the title screen theme. I know what rag it is, but I like its use here. Nice use of music and sound overall. I also like the art style too. Jump was kinda weird, wasn't a fan of it bringing you down too fast or too gradual depending on how you held it. Animations were nice especially for enemy deaths. I also didn't like that when you reached a game over you had to restart and play the whole cutscene again. Instead, I wish it would have restarted you in the world select. Overall, I really thought the concept was cool and definitely think the game has potential.

Let people know how long you've been working on the game
I've been working on this game since Winter of 2022. I hit a really big burnout moment last year, and haven't really worked on the game in a while. This gamejam gave me the opportunity to add in some new levels for players to play, a new boss fight, some new power-ups, and even a weapon that can be unlocked after defeating the first boss.
The game is not finished as of yet, but I crossed a major milestone by finishing the 2nd boss of the game, as it was the thing that caused my burnout in the first place.
