This is the first katamari game I played. It was fun and rolling. I wish I could zoom out a little to see more. I think if you add a set of destructible puzzle levels and a scoring system, it would be even more fun.

As a katamari tech demo, it's quaint and simple. While the graphics and colors do match the autumn vibe you are going for, I'm not sure about the music, which doesn't seem to specifically suit the autumn theme. In fact, it becomes quite jarring after several replays of the game. The controls are similar to katamari, what with twisting and turning, but the floatiness is bothersome. I also see that the controls use the space/enter key, but aside from using it for the start screen, I don't feel it affects gameplay at all.

Jam Host

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.

While I don't normally play Katamari games, I do understand the fun of them and have seen enough of them to have a feel for how they play. That being said, I was a little frustrated with how hard this was to control. The "ball" felt very floaty and a lot of the time I had far more difficulty than I felt I should have trying to get it spinning. In addition, only the "ball" itself is capable of grabbing anything, which makes it more than a little frustrating when I know I'm clearly rolling over an object that should be caught but it's not simply because it's touching other parts and not the "ball" itself.

I don't really have a lot else I can add to this. It works as intended and is fun to play, just needs a tad bit more control for the player and less float.

"Autumn 2021 Jam"... Three years ago, the games were really fun and decent. One of the best games on the jam!

Fun little game! Easy to understand and get going. I like the vibe and overall energy the game had. Also music choice + the game play was a really good match here. Kind of unrelated but I am really happy I was able to get the trees too. I thought they were static props but was pleasantly surprised I could do that :P

Thank you!!! Also I’m very very impressed you got the trees lol, even when I play it I can’t seem to quite get them consistently

Really like the music! I want to know who its author is.
