This was really fun to play! I can't believe you guys managed to make a solid shooter during a jam! The basic FPS mechanics felt really good and the game was very enjoyable. I survived for 16 waves, after which I felt that not enough really changed to keep it intersting - but that's something that can be added onto in the future! I'd almost forget this was made in a jam! If this game would boost more enemies and special abilities, it'd definitely be commercially viable. Good job guys!

I had a blast! I like the "support role" theme, and I think you could've leaned even further into that. Sometimes, it felt like I was the main character doing an escort mission (which isn't horrible). It may, however, be difficult to find a balance between empowering the player and also making them feel like the support. Maybe additional abilities? Not sure. Anyway, the gameplay was silky smooth, super satisfying, and simply stunning to look at. The gun bolt animation and the headshot sound effect were my favorite parts about the gunplay. The environment was cohesive and really looked nice. Also, the variation in gameplay between the different types of Player 1 was a great feature.

All of this in 48 hours was a feat of development! Congratulations on a great final product :)

Great game! Doesn't feel like it was made within a week which says a lot about how polished the overall gameplay and mechanics are. Amazing work!

Thank you for the kind words! Funnily enough, it was made in 48 hours! We limited ourselves because we both wanted to make videos for our YouTube channels about it!

When it does not feel like a jam game you know you've done exceptionally well :)  Its a small things that amaze me on this one.  The feedback, the gun animation, the boompft of the gun, the masterful color palette.  Movement feels a little floaty, but I say that out of pure juvenile jealousy of your fantastic game

Thank you so much for the kind words! :D

This was so much fun. Getting off headshots was extra satisfying. Really good feedback on the gun and the ping sounds on a successful headshot really made it land. I like the little pieces of flair like the bean bopping on the gun. My only gripe is that I didn’t really pick up on any connection to the themes, but it’s possible I just missed them. Still very much worth a play. I got to wave four on my second try but I think I can push it a lot further if I come back and give it a few more attempts. Great job on this guys.

Thanks for the feedback! Our biggest connection to the theme is that you were the second player! The second one :D The Hero was the main character of the game, you were the supporting secondary one! :D

Ohh of course! Very cool, I like that a lot! Glad I asked.

Developer

No problem! :D Excited to check out your submission after a much needed break!

This game felt soo good, amazing job! I could keep shooting all day it was that satisfying. The feedback from the headshots/recoil, all of it really. Really cool stuff, how did you create the sounds?

Developer

Hey! Thanks for the love <3  The sounds were created using some sourced sounds Via Splice.com and edited/layered in my DAW! Alot of fun getting those sounds being satisfying! :D
